Watercolor for Personal Growth

Standard watercolor techniques (such as masking, wet-on-wet, dry brush painting, color bleeding, and color mixing) are used in support of an intuitive approach to painting. Exercises aer meant as warm-ups.

A few things to remember:

Demos are to show A way , not THE way. This is an mixed level class so feel free opt out of the demos or exercises to work on your own. Original work is far more rewarding and challenging than copying but copying is fine for learning technique. The following syllabus is a framework based on my previous experience.

Please see materials list at the bottom of the page.
